No - what will you do when you have a GAS attack for that M8?

if you are still keeping one r-d1, i dont see why that would change your lens lineup at all, except maybe the 21 or 28 since you have the 35mm from the x100. That being said, the 21 on the r-d1 is stellar. Maybe the 28 is the only one i could see you parting with. But it really is a drop in the bucket in terms of $. I guess if you need it, otherwise, you'll probably find yourself rebuying it later (for more lol)

if you need money - sell some pieces, if not, keep them, I think selling price will be the same next months/maybe years

Improving daily--I think.
Unless money or space are serious issues I can't see the need to sell anything. Once you've got a good lens why would you sell it? I've got some junk and truly unused lenses lying around that I'll never use so I'm going to sell them but any of my "good" stuff I'll keep till I die...

I wouldn't part with any good lens if you can afford it. I'm now using my 75, 90 and 135 on M8.2 but all lenses from 12 to 50 are still valid on both the latter and R-D1. Especially 21 whose framing is easier to guesstimate with the M8.2. 28 could become your body cap if you like 35mm FoV and 50 will still give you some more reach, even if it is not long enough compared to same on R-D1. The only lenses i don't use any more with M8.2 are 40mm as both 50 and 35mm frame lines are inaccurate with the latter (not the same with M8). Now you could need a FF cam soon or late and then 40 will become useful again.

Take it from me, don't sell the R-D1!

only one rd1 and the second one i keep forever!!
as an amateur, do i need 2 rd1 bodies? not really.
the reason i was looking at trimming the lens tree was that it seemed a bit much to have 6 lenses and one camera...but then it doesn't hurt to have them in the bag for the times i might want to use them.
ok, officially a silly thought!

Keep them. You may one day come back to the (film) fold.

Keep everything Joe - you like all of it. Once you sell, you'll buy other stuff ...

yeah, i know...
i need to sell one of the bodies though to pay for the x100...so i will still be a 2 camera guy, just 2 different cameras.

Those lenses will come in handy if Fuji releases an M mount body.
As a two lens user, I think you have too many lenses. However, only you know which ones do not see any use at all. If something is not being used, then sell it (it's a good time to sell). If something will be missed, don't sell it. With regard to the bodies... sell the lamer of the two and go on with life.

I highly doubt this is going to happen. Fuji will most likely make its own lenses as they have done in the past.

A replacement/2nd body is very valuable though, Joe. So maybe consider keeping the 2nd body and only sell lenses ?

Yes but as with other mirrorless camera's an M mount adapter may be available.
