It means small & light lenses providing they can be made to focus and have adjustable focal lengths. How about fast lenses as good wide open as stopped down?
I assume the chromatic aberrations are controlled by coatings rather than additional elements. Focal length by glass thickness and density properties or perhaps plastic or other material.
it will be a breakthrough with new lenses in 5-20 years or a bust.
