Just loaded a roll of Tri-X into my 35RC and was curious about what films other members are using in their Olympus rangefinders. So, what film do you have loaded and ready to go right now? To make it a little more interesting, let's do a poll:

No film in an Olympus camera right now. I think I'm subconsciously waiting for the 35RD to get back from a CLA before loading one.

I expect it will be a little longer before it arrives - its only been 5 weeks so far - but I know what will happen when it does. Any film loaded in another similar rangefinder will be left half completed for a long time. 🙂 Best to hold off on starting something right now unless I'm going to finish it the same day.

Edit: This thread inspired me to throw a roll into the RC. Unfortunately the light faded faster than I hoped so I'll end up pushing the roll of Neopan 400 to 800. The RC clicked for me this time. Lots of shooting from the hip, adjusting the shutter speed to account for guessed lighting conditions. Interesting mechanic.

Normaly i use the Fujifilm Xtra 400 (l'm waiting for the pictures taken in a Olympus IVa from 1954 i think), but now i'm using a Kodak BW400CN in the Olympus 35 RD & Canon QL17 GIII, to compare the two cameras.

I've got a roll of BW400CN from my 35RC sitting in the fridge waiting to be developed.

The Trip is not exactly a rangefinder but it's a nice smallish and unobtrusive camera for the street. It's loaded with Neopan 400 at the moment.

Just pulled a Walgreen's 200 (Fujicolor) out and put an Ektachrome 100VS in.

Haven't developed the 2 rolls of color yet from my first use of this XA.

My XA2 is persnickety and underexposes if not underrated 1-2 stops but this XA sounds to be right on.

Getting excited to see the outcome.
