What Focomat Ic part is this ?

Hi all - I recently came by a nolder Ic, I have been able to identify all of the parts and what they do, except for this piese. It is not marked anywhere expect to say Leitz Wetzler, but that's it. It screws onto the negative stage (even has an aperature for the column release lever to pass thru). Can one of you folks tell me what it is and what it is called (the Leitz acronym)?

Ahhhhhh!

I deserve an F. Did look around but could not figure out what to call it. So the is a tilting negative stage. Cool.

I had one of these devices - could never get used to it - tried, but to no acail. This is one case where Photoshop or even Lightroom beats mechanical devices! Cant remember what I did with it - probably donated it to someone with extremely bad linear perception!
