So in a few days the girlfriend is going in for her visa interview to head back with me to the states. Since we will be in the seattle/olympia area for most of the time im wondering if any of the locals have heard of anything interesting for two artist/photographers can go see.
I will be back there for about a month so anything you can think of or know will be going on, great!
Now if she can only get her visa....if not.....then I will get a ziess lens :angel:

Could be because we are currently under water (or so it feels like it, in July!). Depending on when you will be here, we are having the Seafair Hydro races (with the Blue Angels) on the first weekend of August (http://www.seafair.com/). Hopefully, you will be here for the first weekend (Sept. 1-3) for Bumbershoot (http://www.bumbershoot.org), always fun. Another good resource is the Seattle Weekly (http://www.seattleweekly.com/calendar/visual-arts/).

complete defeat. My gf didnt get a visa, the officer said she didnt have enough money in the bank (she said that 4000 USD is not enough to spend a month in washington despite the fact that she would be staying at my house and what not.....) Sooooooooooooooooooo that means that our plans for summer went down the tube as I sadly write this post from my office at work...the good news? New 50mm lens coming sooner rather then later. Oh well, we will try for next time then.
