While I can see its important news and definately a link to the news section would be good, I think removing the whole thread to the news section will limit people seeing it. I find the news section difficult to find as there is no direct link button above like there is for the gallery and classifieds. I dont even check the news section because its not that easy to navigate too. Im sure alot of others are unaware of the news section as well and this will limit participation in the thread. Just a thought anyways.
