What happens when you fit a Nikon DX lens to a full frame body?

It's a 28-200, and for that range there's a bit of distortion especially at the wide end, but not something I'd care for unless I'm reproducing paintings or straight lines near the borders.

No, an 18-135 is an 18-135 is an 18-135. On a crop camera it gives a field of view similar to a 28-200 on a full frame camera, but the focal length range is 18mm to 135mm.

It's not all sunshine and roses over there either. ;) Canon at least made a clean break with the old stuff and any EF lens will work on any EF body with no compromises.
