I am thankful for the ONE reply I got on this thread. but, really, there must be more of you out there with experiences to share... I just won an auction on Evilbay on a Fed2 with an Industar61. (I believe it´s a type e) for $32, including shipping to Sweden. Since my only experience of FSU:s is from my, so far, unused Fed 5B. I´m rather curious to get to know the Fed 2. I really think it´s a beatuful camera. What can I expect from it, and how will it perform (not compared to the 
original Leica) but compared to other FSU rangefinders, and other rangefinders in general?

Hello,
I have a FED 2f on the way as well. The FED 2 is a lot smaller and lighter. You will also appreciate the longer baselength on the rangefinder. Those are the two reasons why I chose it.
