M7. ~$2.2k aud.
Elmar was on the high side - 800aud.

Only one little issue. The frame counter isn't fully resetting when I put the baseplate on. If it's <30, it only resets to 5. If it's >30, it resets all the way to 0.

Can anyone recommend any Leica specialist repairers in Australia? I was thinking of Mainline, as they've given me good service before...

Hey, don't blame me...I shoot with Hexars. :)

But I imagine there are at least a few people here, also in Oz, who can point you in the right direction. Consider this a bump.

What happened to your camera? It looks all beat up or was it in an accident?

Ooops. I realize that you're covering the red dot. Maybe the camera is telling you it'd like to look its best! :)

Whatever it is, it already happened to me. I got four bodies and seven lenses... Let's hope a more knowledgeable person can lead you to the best repair person! And don't despair, even if this affliction has no cure, there's no vaccination, and no insurance in the world covers the treatment! ;)

Go and bring your Leica M7 to Camera Exchange in the Melbourne CBD area, near Elizabeth Street and Lonsdale Street. They should be able to repair it for You ;-)
