So many things go hand in hand with photography, I'm curious what you all combine......

For me, I really like Fishing. Its great to spend a day on the river with a fishing pole and a camera :D

I'm not sure how well it pairs with actually taking a photo, but...long-distance running, for me. Helps to clear the mind and focus on new ideas for projects, website maintenance, developing ideas, etc.

My other hobby is computers, but I only shoot film cameras. I scan etc. and use Lightroom a bit, but can't say I enjoy that side of it all that much. If I had more time and freedom, then I would travel a lot more, and that would of course pair a lot better.

Scuba diving pairs very well with Underwater Photography! Here's a couple of images from my trip to Indonesia in October 2011:

I don't know if it counts as a hobby, but I like air cooled Volkswagens.

Probably does, depending on the age. I long ago had a VW camper. I had it for 17 years. I can assure you it had become a hobby before my wife wrecked it.

Ellen, those are stunning shots!

I enjoy walking, not as exercise, meandering and enjoying wherever I am and seeing the "art" that's all over the place, and maybe get a picture out of it.

This is a reaction to a life of buzzing around like a rabid bee and never slowing down (until now).

I am an amateur audiophile. I like to buy the latest and best audio equipment I can afford. It started with photography and the pleasure to own a leica. My GAS now focus on audio sytems. Is it a good thing? Well my wife thinks not but hey we have just one life to live:)

My activity of counting out bills and handing it to strangers could be classified as a hobby (we do it so much, it must be a hobby) and pairs with photography very well.

Photography pairs with everything. What I'm interested in photographing changes from time to time.

I am not sure if amateur cultural anthropology is a another hobby paired with photography or if cultural anthropology really is my hobby and photography is simply a means of facilitating that.

I've been thinking hard about making it my hobby, i guess not anymore after reading the word 'wrecked'.

ps. Currently owning a T4 camper

flyfishing is my other...but they don't always go hand in hand, unless I get a nice fish, like I did this weekend. A nice 22" cutbow (rainbow/cutthroat) on the Blue River in Silverthorne, CO.

Also, my photography is very very quick and dirty on the river, as I usually have about 10 seconds to snap a photo before I start worrying about the fish and getting him back into the water.
