... likes film again.
I think the number 1 answer for many in this forum should be "Camera Collecting".
This and hanging out in internet foren.
I have hardly spare time left for any hobby so I pair photography with my daily life and shoot everything what I happen to find interesting.

Music.
When I am walking around town with a film camera slung around my neck I sometimes get people ask me, "What are you going to do when film is no longer available?"
My reply is always, "I'll concentrate on my music."

Cycling. I like to build bikes. Then I like to take photos of people while riding my bike. You cover a lot of ground, and you don't have to worry about peoples reactions because you are already halfway down the block.

Bird watching rekindled photography for me. In 2007 I could no longer work, money was tight and birding was what kept me going.

Music. I play classical Japanese music on a bamboo flute called a shakuhachi.

Love the 912 and early 911's. Nice car.
Nice. I love the sound of shakuhachi. (Though, my favourite Japanese music is played on those huge giant drums, o-daiko).Music. I play classical Japanese music on a bamboo flute called a shakuhachi.

Riding my bike around whatever city I'm living in. A bike and a camera allow you to know a city infinitely faster/better than any map or simply driving around. Alleyways and dangerous neighborhoods are the best...

Education is my other vocation.
Always learning.
Why, just recently, I took a one afternoon seminar titled, "Rembrandt's Faces: Passion of the Mind, Heart & Soul."
With our local PPA affiliate, TCPPA, we have monthly seminars that usually run from 2 PM to 8 PM with a couple of breaks. We even provide dinner for our attendees!
I spend hours looking at an image, (photo, painting) figuring what is the story?
Keeps me busy and out of trouble!

I'm not sure how well it pairs with actually taking a photo, but...long-distance running, for me. Helps to clear the mind and focus on new ideas for projects, website maintenance, developing ideas, etc.
I'm in the same boat, so to speak.
Haven't really found the ideal way to pack a real camera while on long runs, but the latest is to use one of the sports holders and bring along the iphone 4s... I use it to take "location idea" phootos - works great since it has gps built in and I'm creating a list of places to return to.

I make babies and raise them.
ALSO - I love to go "antiquing" and it's kind of become a lifestyle thing now. Moved to a very rural setting in a 100+ year old house, started gardening, ditched the bra and shoes, and pretty much roam around in an apron with organic stuff (and darkroom chems) covering me - usually toting a kid or three. Also only shoot film. I love old things and their true ways. Starting to become one of those young people that should really be old, constantly saying "those kids these days..."

Oh, and I'm an aspiring farmer. Pig, chickens, etc... this might fall under the "make babies and raise them" category, but I have never birthed a farm animal. Oh well, same thing.

Good combo, Katie.
Do you usually tote a wide angle or macro?

My hobby and lifestyle revolve around rescued animals.
But woodworking is my passion (fun) and job (not so fun).

Tom - I have quite the wide angle addiction, with the Mamiya 7 43mm being my latest aquisition.
Tony - I also do alot of work at my local small town animal rescue. I take in stray chickens and ducks and such as well (nursing a chick with avian pox right now).
