What is the Correct Noun for Three or More Leica's?

I have owned my MP240 for three years and don't see myself going to the M10 at all. For many things I prefer the X100F. I have had the button wind M2 for four years but have owned several M2's in the past. The 3f is my first LTM camera, have had it for 9 months and it was made in the year of my birth. Finally, the M4 is a mint 50th anniversary model and have it since December.

I don't like to hoard cameras either and feel guilty about having four bodies for the amount of use (or lack there of) which I am giving them. Have been thinking of selling the MP240 and perhaps M2 as well. Time will tell but honestly seeing people here who own 10 makes the guilt of owning four seem like a small thing!

I think the beginning of insanity for me was back in 1974 when I traded my well used Nikon F bodies for a CL. I had no idea what the M system was really about but knew it was legendary. As a college student I could only afford a CL (wanted an M5 because it was much more macho).

Now, I could be happy with any of them but prefer the .72 viewfinder as the 35 is my favorite lens (on even numbered days). The cleaner the finder, the better I like the camera so prefer the M2 but modern features of M4. And either of them compared to the paired frame lines of the M4P and subsequent models.

I think a GAS of Leicas or a luxury of Leicas are my favorites so far.

I too was gong to say a ‘Dentist’ of Leicas but that would be particularly mean of me as my Dad was a dentist and he only bought one Leica, the M2, for me.

A remorse of Leicas comes close sometimes.

A Precious of Leicas calls up that fictional solitary obsessive.

I like the other suggestion here, a cache, pronounced cash.

Once you've got into double figures the word should be a preserve of Leicas or a dusting as that's mainly what you'll be doing...

A penury of Leicas perhaps?

For those not familiar with this somewhat antiquated term
"Penury: the state of being very poor; extreme poverty."

For those who seek more diverse collective nouns with a similar import, perhaps that group could include "A destitution of Leicas" or "An impoverishment of Leicas"

For those who really get bitten by the Leica bug and who cannot stop buying them, (and who hither-too have been married) the ultimate might be
"A Decree Absolute of Leicas" 🙂 I will not explain that term on the assumption that many RFF members will have been threatened with it already and have had the opportunity to look it up on the internet. Or worse still have been down that path already.

Hhmmmnn.........
I offer my version of the collective for ...'one or more English Springer spaniels in a domestic residence'.. a "Clutter".
Might this also apply to Leicas, since I own only three?
D.Lox.

I can kind of relate to this. A friend of mine had several Labrador puppies. Lab puppies have boundless energy and enthusiasm and large waggy tails that effortlessly sweep everything off coffee tables when they become over excited. Hence the collective noun: "A catastrophe of Labradors"
