What is the filter size of a Minolta IIIA 50/1.8. Everything I've read says it's 36.5mm. but I measured mine today and it measures 42.5mm.
What is the proper size?
Many thanks,
Bill

From what I'm reading online- the Minolta IIIa is a folding camera with a 75mm F3.5 lens.
Do you mean a Konica IIIA? Or a Minolta 35mm camera with the 50/1.8 Super-Rokkor? The latter in LTM uses 46mm filters. I have one.
If you mean the Konica IIIa: note there seems to be two versions, one with a 48mm F2 and a second with 50/1.8.

Mmmm... there's a good write up on the Konica IIIa/IIIm at Dante Stella's website - Konica IIIa and IIIM rangefinder cameras
That sounds tasty and dangerous to my wallet...
