The earliest versions (marked Nippon Kogaku Tokyo) an the latest versions (with black aperture ring) fetch higher prices ($300-375 when clean) than the more commonly available all-chrome versions marked Nippon Kogaku Japan ($200-300).
Your find at $190 is a pretty good price for a clean NKJ lens, and a very good price for an NKT or black aperture lens.
I just picked one up with the black aperture ring for $140 - but with two defects. It's missing the infinity lock screw (which is fine with me) and the front element has quite a few micro scratches/cleaning marks.
