oh, the P wouldn't have an accessory shoe like that; i think the P's is recessed, or something.

But you can kinda make out the distinct C in that Canon "font" next to the film rewind crank on the far side.

not a p, rewind is all wrong and the p has no froasted window on the front.

Agree with Joe. It looks like a 7, but the accessory shoe is raised like a 7S?

a 7 makes sense -- with the meter removed and an accessory shoe modded on top of the meter window.

The top controls are definitely those of a 7 or 7s. It does look like a 7 that's been fairly brutally "de-meterized."

The lens looks like a 105/2.5 Nikkor.

Probably a good shooter, if the meterectomy was carefully done, but for my money it's had one too many whacks with the ugly stick.

I saw it in a friend's party, there is some thing labled as Canon, but I did not find it in Canon's museum.
