Looks like a lot of people are upset and attempting to delete their own threads. Also looks like FM himself is preventing the authors of their own posts from editing it.

What happened?

I just confine myself to the 'buy and sell' forum there. Talk about GAS. Those ads roll faster than the NYSE.

I wasn't involved in it, but I think it was about Sean Reid's promoting his review site in his sig, and everyone argued about it in the M8 thread so the guy who made it wanted to delete it.

The carnage is nearly complete. It was Fred's alternative camera forum which had evolved recently into a M8 forum. It imploded in a most dramatic fashion, almost unpresedented in my experience. It made the recent "Seal" thread look like a garden party. It lasted about an eyeblink, and Fred has buried all the bodies.
