Yeah, but I borrowed a Hensoldt Reporter for a few days...Thanks for your interesting replies, gentlemen!
It seems that some of you listed cams that you don't own. In my list I have only mentioned cameras that I have or have owned.
So, if I was to add some "dream cams", it would look something like this:
- Zeiss Ikon (black)
- Plaubel Makina 67
- Mamiya 7 II
- Voigtländer Prominent
- Canon 7
- Konica Hexar RF
- Nikon S2
- Minolta CLE
- ...

ZI, Plaubel Makina, Prominent, Canon 7 -- yes, had 'em for varying periods. Not sure the question means anything. They all have good points and bad points. For example, a Linhof Tech 70 is gorgeous but big (and yes, I've owned them too).
Of the cameras I haven't owned, I wish my 13x18cm Tech V were a Super Tech V.
Cheers,
R.

R2, R2M, Oly 35Sp, Oly 35RC, Rollei XF35. Not necessarily in that order.

Tough choice, but these are the contestants:
- Konica S2
- Konica III
- Rank Mamiya (not the best lens in the world, but cute and very ergonomic)
- Konica S3
- Olympus 35 RC
- Ricoh 500G

35mm RF ? That's obvious: Zeiss Ikon ZM.
+1 on this.
Closely followed by my Bessa R4A...

With rangefinders, I'm first and foremost a Leicaphile, but my Voigtlander Prominents get a regular airing, too - awkward buggers to use, but blessed with beautiful lenses and I love 'em dearly...

Konica Hexar RF if we talk interchangeable lens, Voigtländer Vitessa L if fixed

It would have to be the fabulous Kodak Ektra.
Come to think of it, this would be my favourite RF camera INCLUDING Leicas.
Cheers,

Mine would have to be the Xpan. Superb in either standard 35mm or Panoramic.

Among all the cameras shown in my signature, Rollei 35S sits firmly on the top, although it is actually not an RF camera.

Normally I'd say my Hexar Rf but it's been out of commission for more than a year since being dropped and now it wont focus correctly. (Must remember to send it to Dirk in Japan.) So I would have to say my Bessa R2M is the bees knees. I always see the Bessa akin to my old Nikon FM. Not quite a F3/Leica M6 but plenty good enough.

Among my own:
Bronica RF645
GW 690
Retina IIa
Werra III (for pure manual pleasure in film advance/shooting. And the built-in diopter).

+1 for the Zeiss Ikon ZM and another
+1 for the Epson R-D1 (that one with a decent FF sensor, and I would never buy a Leica...)

I'm giving away my age, but I had a Canon P with a 50mm f1.2 in the late 60's. I've had more than a few cameras since then, but outside of the M3, it's the one I think back on most fondly. I can still remember some of the shot's I took with it.

If we're going for non-Leica/Contax/Canon/Nikon, then I would probably say Retina IIIc, then Argus C-4 Geiss modified or C-44 R.

My Bessa R, which after many years of SLR re-introduced me to RF photography!
