Actually, lenses wider than 28mm are my least favorite lenses, but I consider that a personal defect.

I looked at this poll, and was surprised to see that I had voted 50. I have no idea why. 50 and 35 are my long time favorites! I never use any of my long lenses...

Maybe it's 50: I take more bad shots at that focal length than any other.

For me, anything longer than 50mm is far from favourite when using rangefinders. Even with the 50mm, I far prefer a 0.85/0.9 finder

75 Planar of my Rolleiflex. The angle of view is similar to 40 mm in 135, but wider in vertical (this is due to the square format, that is therefore "magic" at least for me).

Tough question. Probably 40mm or 75mm. Neither seem to fit my eye at all.

I voted 75mm. I've borrowed a friend's Summicron ASPH a couple of times and it just never did it for me. 75 seems superfluous. I could see it working for someone who prefers or is limited to working at a particular distance to their subject but I much prefer 85/90 for portraits and landscapes. Also, I've had 28s before but I like the step from 24/25 to 35 better.

Hi, for sure almost everybody will find to be 75 to 135 useless.
But talking about normal to wide i choose
35mm as the one i use less.
I prefer a lot 50 and 28...and 40 i really like!

I don't believe there is such a thing as a favorite lens. There are some lenses that remain on the camera most of the time. Then there are those focal lengths that we seldom use because the opportunity to use them seldom arise but when we need that special focal length we really need it.

The lense I use the least for my 6d is 50mm , for my etrsi 150mm , eos film cameras 50mm , most other cameras have fixed lenses

I'm in the minority, but I love the 135. Over the years, many of my best shots with rangefinders have been with this length. To make it worse, my favorite is the 135 f2.8 with goggles. I like the results I get with this lens more than the 3.4.

135mm... I have not bought a 135mm for a long long time...
I prefer the 85-105, and 200mm +
as wides go... like them all, I own a 24(35 on my XE2), 28 Fov's

In 135 format, I shoot old SLRS and my least favorite focal length is 35mm.
(My favorite focal lengths are 28mm and 85mm, with honorable mention going to 50mm. I normally jump from 28mm to 50mm, with no need for anything in between.)
For travel and living abroad, I have used compact, fixed-lens RF cameras (Olympus 35 RC and Canonet GIII 17 QL), and the 40 - 42mm focal length suited me fine for these purposes. This is close to 35mm, but the latter still seems a bit wide for what is passing for a normal lens.
In medium format, which I shoot more and more, my lens selections are more limited and I haven't had a focal length that I didn't like.

I voted 75mm because this is what a 50mm lens becomes on an APS-C sensor and I always found that terribly useless...

The wider it is, the harder it is to use and the less I like it. 12/18 mm are difficult lenses.

Poll questions usually are made in positive.
Anyway my preferred lengths are 50 and 28.
I really like wides wider than 28, like 21 and 15.
The larger the lens is, the less i like it! so all those fancy luxes noktons and teles are really annoying.
On the other side the collapsible elmars are my favourites, it doesn´t matter if it´s slow if i can shoot at 1/5th it works!
I even made a mod to focus down to the rangefinder closer limit, a beaut!
