While I'm pleased with the Nokton 50/1.5 and Color Skopar 50/2.5, a Summicron-M 50mm will likely replace them. Perhaps the APO model if I find myself with a bit of a windfall, that's a bit of dreaming. A Noctilux is also a bit of dreaming, but would go well with both M and SL.

I really don't find myself wanting much at this point. My equipment kit is pretty complete and very satisfying, what I want is to use it more.

Are you sure you want to get rid of the Nokton? I find it almost comparable to the Lux ASPH! In fact it is my own dream lens 🙂

The only dream M lens I would want is a 1.0 Noctilux.
Have only used one briefly, but would like to own one.

As I said, the Nokton is good. But I had Summicrons in the past and liked them just that wee bit more.

A 35mm Summilux ASPH with no focus shift and no finger tab. Make it so I can grab the focus ring. Make it smaller than the Ziess 35/1.4. Heck, make it just a tad smaller than the current FLE.
Either that, or a Voigtlander 35mm 1.2 version III that is smaller than version II. That would be the bomb.

I own the current 50mm summilux and love it. So I think I have my 50mm lens covered. The 0.95 Noctilux looks amazing, and suits my style of shooting, but I've never held one and it looks too big and heavy for me, an enthusiast street photographer. Perhaps if I got my grubby hands on one I would be singing a different tune. So if anyone wants to lend me theirs...

I have it already. I can not pick only one unless it be the 50 1.4 ASPH `Lux.

Noct too big, heavy, and too expensive. I prefer small. The bigger the lens, the less I use it.

It does. The 50mm also has knurling (not sure if there's another term for it) around the focus ring, so you can grip the focus ring without using the tab. The 35 Lux does not have this knurling.
