My current project is one I need to hand over completely to the client.
I want to give him a good linkable online storage solution for some large files (Mostly Panos some up to 7500pix wide online).
Flickr has always been my solution to quickly provide an acct for clients to store images online.
Lately Flickr seems to have serious problems when linking directly to images.
What are you folks having good success with in this regard?
It's just not enough content to chase down private server space.
I do need reliability as the image content is linked in many documents throughout the website I'm building for this job.
Suggestions and experiences are appreciated.

Cheers!

I've used www.pbase.com to store my images and have had good experiences with it. Direct linking to the image(s) works great and I've never had any problems. The link in my signature will take you there. It's easy to set up an account. I'm currently paying $25 per year to store my images, which is well worth it for what I'm getting.

Here is a direct linked image from pbase.com:

If you're building a website that uses the images, why don't you just store them on that site's server? That just seems to be a no-brainer.

The small files yes that's fine. For really large files I need off site storage.
There is limited storage space available with the Web Plan the owner is willing to pay for and, a massive amount of PDF documents to put in there.
I need to link to large images with downloadability (some of these Panos are 20mb + ).
Believe me we have gone through it all. The easiest way to do this will be off site hosting and links.
If it was a no brainer I would not put a question out there.

ive been using zenfolio.com, i think $60/yr unlimited uploading, apple-app available, easy access. and you can upload directly from lightroom.
