om2n for color and daytime, 7s for darker and bw. loving them both right now - especially the om2n. Love its rangefinderish feel. Need wider fast primes though. I'll post an example img from each when i get first rolls back. Also getting a camera leather kit for the om. possibly an Artist and A wrist strap for both.

OM-2n is a very good choice. With hyperfocusing and wide-angle lens, it has no problem being used for street-photography. For cheap and good wide-angle prime lens, go for non-Zuiko alternatives. Currently I'm using a Tamron 28mm/2.5 that can stop down to 32, very handy for bright sunny days (snow or not).

I wouldn't consider $200 for a lens to be that much for a lens. And it's amazing that olympus is still making lenses for it's manual focus mount.

that is a rather good iso1600 image.

The colours coming through the rokkor on the 7s are also great. Have you tried it yet?

Yeah the canon dslrs are really good for high iso noise quality especially when yo expose properly. I have tried the 7s with color before and in fact even my lab commented on the quality of the negs.

I think i'll grab a few zuikos - 35 f2, 28 f2 and either a 21 or 24.

At the risk of going OT, I just wanted to compliment fdigital on "lens taste". I have the Sigma 30/1.4 for my 10D, and I absolutely love it. One of the best gear choices I've made in a long time - it's actually the only lens I own in EF mount.

...until I can afford the new 50/1.2L, that is...

Okay, enough OT.

Cheers,

It's an excellent piece of glass isn't it? In fact the sigma was tested against the canon 35 and 24 1.4L's and came out on top in center sharpness.

I love mine
