What just came back from repair?

Not quite a Makina but this was today’s project which had been sitting in a box for three years. Shutter and lens clean and transplant from an Isolette II, bellows replacement with new leather ones, rangefinder unstuck. I promise myself it will be the last Isolette (till the next one).
Good work! Those are a beast to repair when the grease has fully solidified.

Picking up my Leica IIIa ‘Spécialités Tiranty’ this coming week and dropping off a recently-acquired Graflex Norita for service. The Leica received a CLA and had its beam splitter mirror replaced. I’ll probably run a roll or two through it before deciding whether I’m going to keep or sell it.
This is an older post, but I just saw it.
Hopefully you came to your senses and dropped all thought of selling a Tiranty IIIa. Some things are best kept around.

Nope gone - already with its new owner in California. The Noritas however are still with my repair fellow.

The latest camera that I now love is - wait for it - a Canon AE-1. Some things just can’t be explained.

I just received a Pentax KM body and SMC Pentax (K) 28/3.5 lens, serviced by Eric Hendrickson.
He didn't service the SMC Pentax (K) 50/1.8 lens due to separation.

I'm deciding what to send him next, along with my recently acquired K1000 body.

I just received my Pentax MZ-S after a short trip to Sam Gustafson for his attention. He replaced the shutter gear and the broken mirror lever and did a magnificent job. It is working perfectly now and I have been running around the neighborhood with a roll of color film and the 31mm Limited lens happily snapping away. I am thrilled to have it back in my hands again. As soon as I get this roll developed I'll post a few photos.

Thank you very much Sam for returning an old friend. I don't think he does this for a living but if you need his help or advice on a Pentax SLR he can be found at Pentaxforums.com and goes by the handle of @vandergus.
