what lens cap for the J12

I purchased a J12 (kiev/contax mount) off of Ebay and it came with the rear cap (probably the harder one to get) but no front cap. Can someone tell me what size cap I should be looking for, and even better a good place I can get one at a reasonable cost.

if you are looking at my signature, I know it doesn't fit my Contax IIa, I have a Contax II coming....

your common made for a 49mm diameter lens , lens cap will fit.
same lens cap that fits on the OUTSIDE diameter of a Zuiko 50mm f1.8 lens etc.

The filter threads are 40.5mm. You can use a cap that clips into the filter threads as well. I do this with mine as it makes the cap interchangeable with most of my other FSU lenses -- J8, J3, J11, I61.

The caps for most FSU 50mm lenses(the lenses with 40.5mm filter threads)or the J11 should fit also.
In fact, I may have an extra plain metal one. PM me with your address and I can mail it to you.

Jupiter 12 uses the same cap as Jupiter 9 which is 49 mm.
