Hi,
My name is Shane and I am new to this forum. I am fascinated by all things film, and recently have acquired a Leica M3 which I love. I was flicking through some images on flickr and came across some by a photographer named Parker Fitzgerald and seems one of the cameras he uses is a Zeiss ZM Ikon. I was trying to work out what lenses he might have used to take the images with Portra, but alas could not find any indicators. So I thought I would see if someone here might be able to tell. Here is a link to one of the images:

There are many others, all with a similar style.
I love the look of these and it seems to have a zeiss look about it.
Any ideas would be most welcomed.
Thanks kindly,
Shane

That is a good point! I did ask through flickr, but perhaps an email would be a good option.

His tags include "35mm" and "Cosina", so it's probably a Voigtlander 35mm lens. They come in 1.2 Nokton, 1.4 Nokton, 1.7 Ultron, and 2.5 Color Skopar.

Ahh could be. I especially like this one:

I wonder if the bokeh could give any indication.
Thanks all for your assistance.

Judging by the thin DOF and the 35mm FOV it should be at least F1.8. For Voigtlander this means either the 35mm F1.2 or 1.4. The 1.2 is clearly the better lens, if you can live with the size and weight...

Look like a nokton 35 1.4 to me. Used to own a very similar signature 40mm f1.4. However think abt what you like abt his photos like subject matters lighting location final edit. Those factors matter more than the exact version of the lens. Cheers.
