Just bought an M3 and 50 Summar from the classifieds, but need an LTM to M adapter. Found one on ebay, but it didn't describe what framelines it's for. Only one image of it, and it says "M3". Emailed the seller to ask, and he must not have understood its function, because he answered talked about filter sizes. Anyway, auction was about to end, so I bought it. Of course, I'm hoping it's for 50mm framelines. Here's a pic. Anyone seen one like this? Of course, confounding the issue is that on the M3, the 50mm lines are always up anyway, I just hope it doesn't bring up the 90 or 135 lines.

It looks like an off-brand Japanese adapter. These can be quite good, but it's impossible to tell
which framelines it brings up.

Also, if it's a 90mm adapter it can be modified to bring the 50 lines up.

Best,

Roland.

When you get it measure the thickness with a digital calliper.
It should be just under 1 mm (0,995).
If it is significantly more than 1mm, resell it on the bay.

Measure the thickness with a digital caliper? I understand what you mean, but how many of us have one of these laying around? Guess I'll try to see if it's thicker than a mm.
