Hi,
I received a negative from the mail today. I bought it from the auction site. The negative has perforations like a 35mm but is too big to be a 35mm negative. This supposedly came from Harry Langdon, the photographer who took glamor photos of Hollywood starlets.

Any idea what camera was used? Will post a scan later when I am home.

Thanks

this is a scan of the negative. the left image is my 135mm format.
Is the negative on the right a 70mm ?

I shoot 70mm B&W in my hasselblads all the time. The film choice was very good about 5-10 years ago. Now it is limited to two: Maco rollei 400 Iso Infrared professional and 25 Iso Orthochromatic. I still have about 2000 metres of Kodak Aerocon II Reconnaice film 200Iso. It is a wonderful all round material when developed in Acufine or HC 110. As it is a thin base film, you can load 200 frames into a 70mm cassette. Shoot as much as you like, then come home and open the back, cut the film and develop the exposed part- as it goes from one cassette to another- just tape the end of unexposed film to a new empty cassette and go on shooting....

I'm more interested in who this is of. And the punch suggests this was sold as a limited edition. Any idea about any of that?
I inverted the image in Photoshop. It is a shot of a bikini clad girl, shot (quite badly) thru a slot of reflectors. The ring in lower part is a punch hole in negative sleeve, not in the negative.
sally kim? hehe.. maybe in those times posing in bikinis was enough... now it is thru the bedroom of the producer...
