As I am patiently 🙂bang🙂 waiting for my M6 TTL, I was looking at accesories that I would like to get. Two of them...

...are ones that I really want. The first for being able to take more unnoticed shots, and the second for using telephoto lenses (~75-135). When I saw the prices though, I was horrified. $300 for a viewfinder magnifier!!!! Common. Anyway, my question is what are my other options. I found this ebay link... Anyone have any experiance with this?

As to the first item, I have realized that it is useless due to the price and that it only can show the 50mm frame line and above. As I have glasses, it is doubtful that I will be able to see even the 50mm frame. What other options are there available for this? I know that there is a viewfinder listed on cameraquest, but that one only goes up to a 25mm frame line. I will mostly use 35mm, plus a 90mm once I save up enought money. I would like one that attaches to the original viewfinder so I can still use the rangefinder patch.

p.s. Look closely at the M7 in the ebay picture.... It's bacwards!!!

The 35mm is a street lens and you will be shooting quickly. The 90mm is a portrait and you will be composing. I'd wait and try the camera with those lenses & glasses. I wear glasses & have no problem.

The first one is specifically for the 90mm Macro Elmar I believe. The built
in enlargement makes it useless for 50 or 35. Correct me if I'm wrong -
I would be thrilled.

If you want something similar for 50mm you need an AUFSU. They are
pretty rare. Or a CV angle finder for wide lenses.

The 2nd you really only need if you use a 90/2 or very fast 50/75, in my experience,
assuming your M6 has .72 magnification.

Roland.
