What Photo software are you guys using?

My daughter just used the re-touch tool in iPhoto to retouch the senior portraits (grad photos) I did on Saturday. They look surprisingly good. I'm kind of afraid to to see what the prints are gonna look like, but maybe they'll be okay.

I recently bought Lightroom. However I'm finding it pretty daunting to use it at all. The manual seems to be written only for techno-geeks that use digital camera only. I'm sure, based on what I read before buying it, that its a powerful tool applied to film scans as well. But I haven't been able to 'find my way in' yet.

Therefore, I was forced to use iPhoto to make some display-sized (A3) prints for the first time last night. I was printing straight from Costco scans (2 to 5 Mb). They came out great... no tweaking needed. So I'm not going to worry about getting up to speed on Lightroom any time soon.

Lightroom and PS Elements 2 are the main ones. Sometimes I also use Silkypix and Nikon NX Capture. But I do the bulk of my work now with Lightroom.

i used to use CS3 exclusively. Then I got myself a new mac, and now I use Aperture all the time. it's still taking some getting used to. but it's sufficient. And the best part is it organizes all my work for me. Because i was terrible at that.

I use a few freeware programs: GIMP and FastStone Image Viewer mainly. And have been trying PhotoScape.
