Leica LTM What price a UC-Hexanon?

Bought mine new, boxed with everything from Matsuiyastore about 3-4 years ago for $US870 if I remember rightly. It's probably my most used lens and I'll never sell it no matter what the price. But $1800- 2000 bucks, give me a break. It's probably symbolic then of how the market has just gone crazy.

love this lens but 0.9M close focus for a 35mm is an almost deal breaker

That's why I sold mine and bought a Summicron v.1 for way less than the UC-Hexanon fetched. I did like the rendering of the Hexanon though.

I can remember when Matsuiyastore used to list these occasionally for around $1100.00 .... he hasn't had one for ages!

I bought mine from them. I paid less than $900.
