What services do you use for photo blogs?

Blogger is fine and easy to use.

Last time, i discover a cool blogging platform, quite young and looks nice: ghost.org

If you like playing with code a bit, they allow you to use their own code and use your own server like a raspberry pi (computer at 30€..). It will not be the most efficient way to have a blog, especially if you have a lot of visitors, but, to have your own little server at home and host yourself your blog can be cool (in fact perhaps for little geek like me)

RFFer John Wolf uses Tumblr well, I think, both for a gallery and a blog. Have a look....

Thanks for that, Robert. I switched to Tumblr from Zenfolio when I moved my web site from Zenfolio to SquareSpace. SquareSpace offers integrated blogging, but I like the look of Tumblr blogs. I don't think you can go wrong with Tumblr or Wordpress.

I have a self-hosted website on Dreamhost using Wordpress.org. Dreamhost has responded immediately when I've had a problem- fixed, without big problems on my end. I'm glad I went with them and will stay with them.

I set my site up to cover my creative work in photography, printmaking, and painting, an archive of sorts; the blog section has morphed to deal with current activity...usually aimed at art experiences...

I also have a blog on Tumblr: arttaj.tumblr.com/ which I use for more casual things.
And I post stuff on Flickr as well...

It is amazing how many people from all over the world visit the site even though my numbers a small in comparison to many.

freshfromthestreet.tumblr.com

I've been using tumblr for a while now, and i like it. There is a lot of, er, crap - but there is plenty of quality blogs on there too. If you do join up, I'll point you towards some of my favourite users.
