What size is CV50mm Skopar filter?

Hi folks,

As the title says - What size filter so I need to fit the 50/2.5 CV Colour Skopar?

Also is it the same fitment on the 35mm PII?

I'm heading to Cuba In a week and not being used to such sunny climbs I'm considering getting some filters and perhaps a lens hood for the 35mm PII.

Does anyone have any reccomendations for filter types? I mainly shoot B&W.
I probably get a UV filer or two. Also can anybody reccomend where to get them from in the UK?

And finally. Anybody got any filters/hoods they would like to sell me? 😉

I'm pretty sure the filter size is 39mm for both lenses. I generally use a yellow and, occasionally, an ND filter. I have one Heliopan and one B+W filter--both work well. Can't help with dealers in the UK, sorry!

I can't help with UK filter source. My most used filters are yellow and orange with green being number three on the list. Brands I use include B+W, Heliopan, Hoya and Tiffen, among others. The Hoya HMC UV is a pretty nice multi-coated filter, the B+W MRC UV is too but pricey. For uncoated filters, I find no difference between brands at all--I just buy what's available that comes in the size I need.
