how about this: replace PASM with ev comp and shift it to the rear (shrink the lcd and move it up to make room), leave the iso dial on the left but integrate white balance via a lift-and-turn dial (like the combined shutter speed/iso dials of yore). get rid of the dial on the front of the body, but leave the back dial to change aperture (displayed on the shrunken lcd) just like the leica s2.

White balance? A raw only camera, now that is "pure". Just like film.

Well ok, there are Exakta branded digital cameras, but they're not actual DSLRs with a proper Exakta shape.
