Hi...
Easiest way to get info:

Go to Google, type in Bessa R2a, for example.
Open the first Link that comes up, click on it, and it takes you
to Gandy's CameraQuest, for that item.
BTW: The R2A & R3A are electronic shutter cameras.
I have the M-mount Bessa T. A Bessa R is on the way...
and this is m39 or LTM [Leica screw mount].

Many of the excellent Cosina Voigtlander lenses are m39, and
require m39 to M Adapters.

Cheers, mike

Thanks for all the input guys,

Would the bessa R3M and the Nokton 40mm F1.4 work together? Or would I need an adapter?

This lens;

With this Camera;

Also does the Bessa R3M use poawer for the shutter (can I use the camera without battiers)?

Thanks for all your help,

Eric

R3M and the nocton 40mm f 1.4 work perfectly together (40mm framelines in this camera) and you don´t need an adapter for the lens (M mount lens).
R3M (and R2M, R or R2) doesn´t need batteries for the shutter (only for the meter). The R3A (and R2A) needs batteries for the shutter (but you have aperture priority).

Hi Guys,

I found some used rangefinders in Calgary. Tomorrow I am going to look at a;

Canon VT Rangefinder Body w/ Lens 35mm F1.8 for $500 CAD and a
Voigtlander Bessa-R Black Body w/ Color Skopar Classic 35mm F2.5 For $550CAD

They are both in good shape with no sctaches on the lenses (that is what the guys said I will find out tomorrow)

I am not too sure what one I will get I alreay have 4 Canon camera's so I know they work good. But the Bessa looks like a good camera too.

Thanks,

Eric
