rumor has it that Nikon will announce a new line of 35mm film, both color and B&W, to take advantage of the higher profit margins. 😉

The Nikon F look-alike digital camera will have a preview screen on the back because people will expect and demand it. The body will also incorporate a cell phone, and using the cell network everytime you chimp the camera it will debit your bank account $1.

I said nothing because in our slow economy they know all the gas addicts will be broke from purchase of the new Fuji/Bessa folder that cost them more than 2 grand.😉

Well this is a perfect time to come out with a reissue of the F. You will sell them all and best of all you will keep engineers and folks busy during a down turn. Keeping the best employed is as important as making money in this economy. If you let them go they will not come back. You do not need to make money, just not loose too much.

I'd say a reissue of the 24/2.8, 50/1.4, 105/2.5 (original design please) too.

I'd love to see digital guts, but am not keeping my fingers crossed. While the savings in design is exactly what they need to do (to save money and time) I doubt they have listened to the voice of the customer enough to hear us. The market is large and Nikon could pull a first strike that could keep everyone else out for a LONG time. They could pull an Apple if the had the ba11s.
