If you search this player in google, you can find pix of it with the player. I don't doubt it was a generic add-in that probably lots of manufacturers used.

I bought a Minolta 800si with 28-85mm lens and RC-1000 remote yesterday from a person on Craigslist and he threw the battery pack in the bag.
