Bill Mattocks, if I send you $40 in unmarked bills will you send me a grab bag? :p Decisions, decisions! Actually I just barely got the Bessa R2 a month ago and I'm having a ball. Should hold me for a while, shouldn't it?!?

Thanks Honu-Hugger, for a moment I was feeling a bit slighted there. But just for a moment,lol.

OK, i confess, i have (in order of chronological appearance):
-a minolta dynax 5 SLR
-a yashica D TLR
-a Rolleicord V TLR
-a yashica electro35 GSN RF
-a canonet 28 RF
-a yashica electro35 CC RF.
Currently i am bidding (probably getting it for ~eur30:D) on a Bessa 6x9 folder with uncoated Skopar.
[just not to let the rangefinders take over!!!]

What i'd keep:
-the minolta slr (my first "real" camera + come on, i'll never have cash for a rf with 17 and 24 mm lenses)
-the rolleicord (square rulez, especially those big ones! and it's just so cute, a brick with two eyes)
-the GSN (or the CC, i'm not sure at this moment. The GSN is nicer in hand and I feel more confortable with the 45mm lens; however, the CC is new, don't "know it" yet, is in a bit better condition and it looks cooler+is somewhat more portable)

Wishlist:
Mamiya 7II (well, one can wish...)
Contax II(a) with sonnar 50/1.5, 80/2 and biogon (unexplainable attraction, very hard to resist)

(The minolta's new DSLR would be nice too, though, just to try it out - maybe digital IS for me!)

Now the reason why I keep the Bessas and 'blads in two's, is because the camera bodies are part of a 'system', one backs up the other one. Some fellow 'blad users think it's quite queer that I have a electronic 'blad backing up a manual 'blad, it just was when I went to buy another 500c body, the 555 was cheaper and in better shape.

On the wish list-
Replace the Bessa Rs with Leica M4-Ps, with MP viewfinders and 35mm, 50mm and 90mm framelines and motordrives.
Realistic-
Canon DSLR: I'm thinking of buying a 20D in April with wide angle zoom and a Canon tilt and shift lens.
Fantasic-
Hasselblad Archbody and full frame 6x6 digital back.

And an Epson "XGA" digital camera. Seems broken.

I must say, I'm better off than I was. The Nikon S-2 stuff is all gone, and the Mamiya TLR stuff is similarly out of my closet. I still hate to go in there for towels, though, as I have such guilt I don't use these beautiful machines nearly enough. I just look at my "filter shelf" and get embarassed.
 
So it looks like Curt (wierdcollector) in the lead with Bill Mattocks a close 2nd.

I actually know someone who might have Curt beat... Larry Boccialetti (sp?) in Toronto. I picked up my Zorki4 from him, and he had at the time at least 6 whole china cabinets full of cameras, not including the basement and he was just rebuilding his collection. He mentioned that he had well over a thousand at one time, and sold it all to a prop company. He let me take a picture of his place with the condition that I don't give out the address.

BTW, I'm not very organized at all, but I actually have a spreadsheet listing all my camera's, bodies, lenses with filters sizes etc. What's everyone else doing to keep track of theirs. OTOH, my camera's are scattered thru the apt into the car :).
