what's considered a digital looking image?

I've been looking on Tumblr (specifically the 'lensblr' page) and what just struck me is how many digital B/W pics look like they were taken using Kodak Tech-Pan or one of the Rollei variations like ADOX Pan or Rollei-25, then developed in something harsh.

Doing it all yourself is a calling for some, but holds no interest for me. I have seldom seen great results from that approach -- collaboration is human.

I agree but all I am saying is that opinions differ.
