What's In a Name?

During my working life, I managed and supervised a wide variety of personnel, from professional engineers to operations and maintenance workers to laborers. For lack of something better to call me, at least to my face, some of the guys shortened my name to "Mister Nick". After retiring, I decided to adopt a more appropriate version, hence "OldNick".

Very old stuff from when I started using the net now about ten years ago... always been a fan of StarWars esp. the Imperial Navy, hence the name being an aggregation of two "Imperial Star Destroyer" names : Darkk and Avenger //

🙂

Else it's plain "Max" as people call me!

Every person I've ever told that I collect cameras or have hundreds of cameras says "That's weird" and I figured just as a play on words I'd spell it incorrectly. Not because I are stoopid or dyslexic either thanks guys.

Toyota Tacoma trucks are AKA TACOS, since both my wife and I drive Tacoma double cabs [hers is a prerunner, mine 4X4 with lots of bells and whistles] sooooo, I became dostacos on my truck board and just kept it for other boards

mine is an editing term. I've been using some form of it for nicks/handles for years now. You write it next to an editing mistake, and it means "don't make that change."

'Cause you know, I was prefect from the get-go.

😉

My name here is the one I was born with: Frank Granovski the 3rd. So Jr. is okay too. 😉

I moonlight on pnet from time to time, and always enjoyed the way Frank would provoke some of the leica snobs, until he got banned.
