ya know, I sometimes wish that the 'rents had named me after an alcoholic beverage, instead of calling me Mark. Turbodog would a great name; Turbo for short. Turbodog Ale, Abita Brewery, Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA.

I suppose that Charles Martel, aka Charley the Hammer, must have been lower on the list fine cognacs with your folks.

RML, the intials of my name, Remy Martin Lang. Now the "v.s.o.p." will also make sense to some of you. 🙂

There are variations of this, my old mexican beetle with racing seats, 195/50 tires on 6.5x15 wheels etc.pp was called Turbo-Socke-GT after the F1 racing car in one Disney Cartoon where Uncle Scrooge put together a racing car from parts found on a junkyard which Donald had to race. In the german translation it was the Turbo Duck GT.
