Hi,

several forums online have threads on camera bag contents and I've noticed RFF doesn't have one. It's nice to see people's camera's and lenses, but the combination of different gear often tells even more.

What's in your bag?

Ok I will bite:

nothing in my bag but a lens cleaning kit. two cams are on the piano. others are in drawers. maybe i ought to make a bag display, though, as if i'm making a brief trip. hmmm ...

X100 and the M4-P with the VC 25mm. I'll be damned if I'm going to take a nice, neat picture of them, though!

Today I was out with the Rolleiflex 2.8e, and my new-old Nikon S3 with a 50/1.4, 35/1.8, and 21/4. I ended up doing most of my shooting with the Rolleiflex, for some reason the square format seemed more suitable for what I was shooting today.

This is gonna be a nice thread !!

Bizzardkid I also love those swing out Konica straps, I have converted a few of them into wrist straps by making 2 with 1 strap. Also the beater M4 reminds me my beater M3, same condition but soooooo soft.

This my bag below:

The bag is a 1975 Genuine Field jacket model M65 medium size, brand new and impossible to find as new unless you know me :)
Layed on top are:

-Leica Standard with VC 28mm f3.5 and small finder, loaded with kodak Elite film 100 ISO
-Leica IIIf with Elmar 50mm f3.5, loaded with Kodak Trix 100 ISO
-Leica 90mm f4 and associated Nikkor UW 80mm finder
-2 spare rolls of each film above
-Cheapo cell phone, does the job for me
-Olympus small voice recorder-a great performer even for recording concerts
-The famous Never-break-really reliable-unseperable-POLARIS lightmeter. I have it for 20 years in my pocket and I love to lure the kids saying this is the new generation satelite Iphone-hahahaha

Added on top of that is just pulled from my car: The Beastie boys anthology, Sounds of science

I'm never on the receiving end. I take the pictures from the front. My bulb stash is endless... from the slippery slope of NNJ to Vũng Tàu. I do not shoot blanks... challenge me !

The contents of my bag change each time depending on where I go, the mood of the day and what I expect to photograph.

Ok, i'll bite. What's the lube for?

Same question here? But do we want to know it?

Sacrilege, but I haven't touched any of my rangefinder cameras in months...
So excuse the distinct lack of them in this photo:

There is a foldex 6x9 and a Demekin up on the top left, which I don't use very frequently, but I didn't want to appear too boring for only using 35mm SLRs. :D I did though use them this summer.

The rest:
Edixa Prismaflex
Miranda D
Yashinon 2/50
Miranda 1.9/50
Enna Lithagon 3.5/35
Soligor 2.8/105 + hood
Miranda WLF
Miranda M42 adapter
A wide angle auxiliary lens with a reversed front element
Various films - the Edixa usually has slide film in it, and the Miranda usually has B/W film in it.

Not pictured: boring stuff like straps and a cable release, etc.

moleskine..... checked
mechanical watch.... checked
army knife (and i don't think of a handy swiss army knife or a leatherman. i mean the kind of knife with which u can skin squirrels).... checked

still waiting for a book written by haruki murakami, an altoids box and an i-pad.

Most of the cameras and lenses are sitting on a cabinet. I'll take the easy way out instead of digging stuff out to shoot it.
