What's in your bag?

I use several camera bags with equipment. This weekend, I am using a very used looking bag with a Hasselblad SWC, 120 and 220 camera backs. Pentax digital sptmeter. Film. I covered parts of the bag with black tape, and I used needle and pin to make the bag stronger.

this month will be dedicated to film again. at least as best as i can afford it.

so here's my film outfit, at least what's left after selling some items.

I will put them on ebay soon. Too busy at the moment. I basically found them in a Tokyo store and cleaned out most of their supply! Here's all of them in their original boxes.

Oh, I also have 120 film cases, too.

Dude, really need a film box like yours.

Thx a lot! ;)

Hay, it went out today.
Enjoy it.

I guess I should take another photo of the newest bag and what's in it?

Can't wait for this one to arrive. One of the most thoughtfull bags ever made.

BTW: Do you guys know the origin of "what's in your bag" ?
Hint: It's not about cameras or photography.

Is it from Every Day Carry (EDC) blog? My friend is actually the one who runs that blog.

I've been shooting mostly medium format the last few months, so I'll show off that kit.

The bag is a 20 year old Tamrac Correspondent 8, model 428. This bag was designed for working journalists and documentary photographers, and is basically a ballistic nylon clone of the popular Domke F2. I actually prefer the Tamrac version. When I was in high school in the early 1990s, I bought the Correspondent 6, which is a smaller version. I wanted a Correspondent 8 as well, but couldn't afford it at the time. Soon after, it was discontinued. It took my MANY years to locate one for sale, and I wish I could have gotten one when they were new. The bag is big enough to carry my stuff, without the bulky padding around the sides. Very easy and comfortable to carry, and easy to work out of.

The camera is a Hasselblad 503cx. I have four lenses for it.

Zeiss 50mm CF-FLE Distagon
Zeiss 80mm CF Planar
Zeiss 150mm CF Sonnar
And a Vivitar 2x teleconverter. I rarely use it, because sharpness suffers, but it has been useful at times.

I meter with a Minolta Spotmeter F, and I keep notes with a Moleskine notebook and a mechanical pencil. The pocket level keeps my shots level, and the extra long cable release helps prevent vibration. I have a Manfrotto 2011 Tripod with 3047 head that is in the trunk of my car. I use it for all of my work with the Hasselblad. I need to buy more film, those are my last four rolls, but I'm broke till I sell another print!

Let's bring this back up:

This Benser case is shared between the Leica M4 shown and my IIIf. What's in it now:

Leica M4/Summitar, Henzo 'Monaco' notebook, shortened IUFOO hood, expired roll of Neopan SS, Gossen LunaSix 3 + spot attachment, Leica M bodycap, Parker Jotter Stainless Steel, magazine of film: Superia 200 & 400 & Tri-X 400, pair of scissors to clip leaders, 'lipstick' soft brush, Sony lens cloth, Heuer Trackmaster 8032 stop watch, light yellow, orange and dark orange filters for Summitar, Leitz cable release for IIIf.

Clickable for enlargement.
