i'm pretty settled in on fuji gear for the most part...not sure what might drag me away.
just bought an original canon f1, slr film camera and a few lenses.
next on the list will be a nikon rf...an s2 or s3 and maybe 2 lenses.
no money for gear at the moment though so i'm aiming for maybe christmas time...or the new year.

For me? Maybe the Fujifilm 23mm f/2 and 50mm f/2 when those come out. A Leica Q one day? Nothing really excites me.

Nice plans by OP!
No money, but gear to sell. Once it is done, I'll try to get Elmarit-M 28 and M8.

Joe, I find it interesting that you like the Fuji digital and its lenses, but want to try Canon and Nikon, and not the older Fujica line of film cameras. Have you ever given that any thought. I understand most of their bayonet lenses were fairly good. I can tell you from personal use that the screw mount lenses were outstanding.
But to each his own of course. And we don't always have to justify a preference for any camera or lens type other than "I want one."

I don't know that there is a 'next' for me in the foreseeable future. My funds are already earmarked for upcoming trips that would ge me an opportunity to use gear I already have.

fujica lenses were very good, i used 2 of their enlarging lenses for years in my darkroom.
the canon is a nostalgia trip and honestly, i preferred canon to nikon in the slr department...i had both at different times.
the nikon rf is hands down the most handsome rf camera ever made...my opinion!
the fuji digitals have great lenses...and offer the closest rf type experience with their xe bodies.
