Washington (state) What's on tap Seattle?

Wow! What a good turnout today, I lost count at 12. Thanks all for coming out and sharing your experiences, tips and prints. Aaron, Mike, your prints were spectacular! If I was to compare to my prints I would state the (we're not worthy) emoticon for mine, if they had one. :D

Larry, Thanks for the Kodachrome, I will shoot it honorably. I'll probably have a 21 gun salute afterward.

Please PM me here with your contact e-mail if you wish to be on a distribution list for our next meet. My thoughts are that anyone here at RFF can start a meet-up thread and then we can notify the distribution list of a possible meeting.

Thanks again!
Gary

I don't remember who gave me the 46mm lens hood, but thank you very much! It now lives on my Panasonic 20/1.7 lens.

I was just wondering that same thing Aaron. I'm game for sometime in February. How about a Saturday like February 12th or 19th? We could do 1PM again at Big Time Brewery. What do you guys think?

Dave

I'm good for both but the 12th would work better, how does the 12th sound?

Anyone going to the Tulip Festival this year?

Cheers
Gary

I would prefer the 12th also, but I could make the 19th a little after 1pm or so. I want to find out where Larry is buying his darkroom bottles!

My guess is would be the growlers from Big Time. Word on the street has it that Larry has a small home distributor of fine beers from there.

Also Big Time has a special that goes right along with your nickname.

"NEW.. Grumpy Hour 2-5 (except Friday) $1 off pints..$3 Snacks..Garlic Cheese Pizza Bread, Chili Cheese Fries, Chips & Salsa, Basic Nachos. "

Thanks guys! I'm game for either weekend as well. I started a tumblr for photo blogging. Tumblr seems to have a pretty big community of photographers and creating a page is pretty simple.

I'm definitely into this. I missed the last meet up, and it seems like Seattle is quite a hot bed for misguided RF types such as ourselves. The 12th works for me.

Looks like the 12th will be a good day for most, let's call it good. Big Time Brewery, February 12th at 1PM. Parking is free on Saturday at the UW campus after 12 noon. I park up by the Burke Museum and walk on down. I'll send out distribution notice of the meeting to those who are not following this thread.

I'll buy the first round. Grumpy Hour starts at 2pm, $1 off pints.

Items of discussion:
  • Springtime photo opportunities
  • Larry's brown bottles
  • Tumblr 1809.tumblr.com
  • Roundtable
Cheers

Finally going to try and make a Seattle meetup after having lived here for two years. I moved to Seattle for a job, but left that job and am now attempting to do freelance photo/video work for a living, so about tme I got to know more local photogs.
