what's strange about this auction's pics?

So is he pulling the images from someone else's website?

yeah. . .or maybe this seller . . .I don't know. FUnny thing is, they have like 18 bids on that pricey thing.

Kinda scary, last year someone put up a similar setup on e-bay, using stock images of a Leica MP and two lenses. It was only up for 3 days and it was fishy. I bid $300 just to see what would happen. Someone bid it up to $2000. It turned out to be a highjacked e-bay account.

Every time I read these eBay "whine" threads I get thirsty,

Some of you folks need to get off of eBay and find a hobby.

Maybe you could take up photography? 😛

They aren't whines
just observations of something that doesn't seem to be right.

"Us folks" aren't nessecarily always on ebay, either; it doesn't take more than a minute or two to look through the entire Leica category...

Geez, George. You're the biggest whiner about threads on this site. Talk about pot, kettle.

Maybe you need a little cheese with your whine.

For all you whiners and anti-whiners, I wasn't whining. I was curious as to what purpose shooting digicam images of a computer screen would have, when one would only have to copy the image itself and reuse it.

Yeah, the seller could have just right clicked and saved the image. Check the feedback on this item in a few weeks.
