Ok, I am just curious, since this is an international forum, I am curious to know what the weather is like in your neck of the woods?

I know, I know, I can just google the information, but what fun is that? Google does not provide the human touch when viewing the weather.

ok so here we have it, I live Bay Area, recently the weather has been beautiful, 70's in San Fransisco, 80's in the East Bay. There has been a light off shore wind, but it is one of those rare moments where you can actually walk around wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

The air is dry, and the sun just beats down on you warming your skin, like a roasted red pepper.

I have had the past few days off, but what is really frustrating all of the local, outdoor swimming pools have been closed, which has been very frustrating. There is of course Baker's Beach, where clothing is optional, but it is mostly guys, so not much fun going there unless I am with my wife.

ok, if you have any exciting weather to report, I would really like to know!

Cheers,

Sisyphus

Washington, DC area sucks right now. Mostly cloudy and/or rain. A couple of days ago we had a lot of thunder and lightning. That I like, but the weather has been dreary. It especially affects my wife and her fibromyalgia. They say it is going to get bette for a couple of days but that remains to be seen.

Hope it is better for others.

Here in South Florida it is sunny, very sunny, high 92, low 78, thunderstorms expected around 4 Pm. Same forecast 365 days a year.
Yup.

Unusually rainy and cool for the middle of June here in North Texas. I've even turned off the AC and opened the windows..

Also located in San Francisco Bay Area, very good weather lately and to continue for about a week. This is a far cry from the crappy weather we were having for about ten days before this. Once the wind dies down there is no place like it.I like it with NO wind and 70º.

Inland Southern California - high today 95ºF, 35ºC low 61ºF 16ºC and dry! But, oh the smog.

NE Vermont is one big blue sky with some small cottony clouds here and there, a nice little breeze, and about 70° (F). Been like this for the last few days and I could get used to this. Even the black flies haven't been bad (knock wood).

Partly cloudy today but warm(70-80 F). Nice. Last Friday evening, we had a thunderstorm. I was hanging out with mom(she lives on the 10th floor) and got to watch the storm roll in. Pretty cool. Even better, some one did fireworks! So I shot a few photos out her window of the fire works going off during the thunder and lightning. Hope those come out OK. Amazing to watch, though. As much excitement as I like for weather:

I'm happy to not have any exciting weather, thank you! I lived and some of my family is from the US midwest(Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Nebraska) and exciting weather there could be deadly--I've been through too many tornadoes so boring is good for me. Couple of hurricanes while vacationing on the east coast, too.

Also in San Francisco and I must say it's been quite nice these past few days. Living here makes you miss the summer months.....sometimes. :). Our cold drafty apartment can be a pain sometimes as we live in the fog bank.... It's the only city where you'll see scarf & jackets in June/July/August.

84 degrees F, mostly sunny, 18% humidity. Pretty normal day in Albuquerque.

Wish I was there. Love New Mexico!!! Been to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs?

Here its about 70 and sunny with a light breeze.....

Been a pretty dull day in the valley - low cloud and misty rain for most of the time. Had to dry off the dogs after the morning walk but just got away with it this afternoon. Then it did really darken up with real rain and a bit of thunder.
The evening dog walk started damp but improved. Its broken cloud now with whisps clinging part way down some of the hills and real banks on the tops. Forecast doesn't sound brilliant for the weekend but as the forecaste is always for somewhere else but us here it never is too accurate.
Because of our location - mouth of valley and 2 miles from the sea the weather varies between places just a few hundred yards apart - can have rain with us whilst its sunshine for friends on the otherside of the village. Funny it always seems to be that way round.
But its coolish - shirtsleaves the order of the day. Not been a great June so far.

frekin hot...

only good thing about it being hot is you can drive down university...
and see some nice sites...

Been around 70 degrees F. the last couple of days. Rain most of yesterday and overcast most of today. Unusually cool for June. 100 miles east of here, in Norfolk, VA, it was 66 yesterday. The lowest high temp. ever recorded for 6/14 in that city. Break out the parkas, the ice age is on the way.

Coming out of a drought. 12 inches of rain in three days last weekend (it was a long weekend!) and more tonight. Still on level four water restrictions tho'. <shrug>

Cheers.... Pete (it's always a flood that breaks the drought!)

Yeah, this smog in Riverside is awful. Not enjoying the heat, either. :bang:
