One of the old magazines in my collection has a review of a Konica, which appeared to be new to the UK. OK, it's noting to do with this question but this caught my eye:
" ... very well made and finished and not at all like the usual badly made slavish copy of the German precision camera... "
FWIW, this was a CRF with a coated 50mm f/3.5 lens and shutter 1s to 1/500th. Combined RF and VF btw and blue tint to VF and yellow for the RF. Thy were impressed by 20 x 16" tests shots and the price then with ERC was £23
