For some reason my CS4 Diffuse Glow is giving me this effect:

rather than this:

It didn't used to. What could have changed and how do I fix it without reinstalling?

I wonder if there is anyone who can help me fix this issue for my daughter's graphic design course.

Download Nik color Efex 4 free 15 day trial. Try Midnight filter, Glamour glow and a myriad of other with numerous sliders to tweak the effect. In fact stack different filters and you may be amazed at what you come up with.
If you decide to buy, entering WPALANK at check-out will get you 15% off. ;)

It's surely is a brave new world.

... what happens after the fifteen days?

Sparrow,

A person will usually not be able to load (bring up) the program for usage on the computer. The code is usually written so as even if the date on the users computer is changed it won't do any good.

Then the user can go on line pay for the software and, in most cases, receive a code via e mail to activate the program.

You've got to pay Leica extra to unlock the glow function in CS.4

Really? Does the Leica bashing have to come up at any opportunity? Somebody in the forum said that saying anything about Nikon was an indication of childhood trauma. But of course you can say it's childhood trauma if one is bashing something other than Leica, I guess that's been established.

It is beyond old.
