No kidding. It was listed for all of 6 minutes. Look for those items to reappear separately soon. Dang.
In a "Junk Box" at the now long discontinued Santa Monica Camera Show held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium (site of many Oscar presentations in the 60's), I found a rare Leica screw mount 25/4 Nikkor with a Leitz screw mount adapter for the princely sum of $20.
At the same show I resold the adapter alone for $50.

My best buy is a Leica M6 for $50.00 at a estate sale. Asked if there was any other photo stuff around and ended up buying a BOX full of lens for another $100.00. You really don't want to know what was in that box. If I told you would piss down your leg!!!

It was so shocking I want to know what came in $100 mystery box. Come on, I'm ready and went to bathroom already.

my best bargain was a mamiya RB67 with many accessories, bought for £90, sold for over £400.
Aside from many 70's and 80's SLRs (nothing extraordinary) I've been extremely lucky to have been given an Olympus Pen FT with the 40mm 1.4 and to top it a leica 3G with collapsible summicron.

Just grabbed a Sekonic L 328 Digilite F flash meter at my local Value Village for $5.99. I've been checking it against one of my other light meters and so far it seems to be working perfectly. I'm a happy shopper!

Olympus XA with A11 flash for a dollar. The camera only needed batteries. The flash needed the corrosion cleaned out and a new battery and all is good. Found it on a rummage sale table with several cheap point & shoots.

I once saw a dumpster literally full of used lenses on the street outside B&H Photo.
Peeking inside I saw mostly M42 stuff. I thought about digging through them
but by then I couldn't muscle my way past the other vultures, er, collectors...

300$ for a Nikon F100 in excellent shape. For some reason the seller gave me his original receipt even though the warantee period had long expired, the bill said 1400$

Just won a Pentax ME Super in exc++ condition on eBay for £2.19. Bargain!
Seller said mirror was sticking badly, new buffer & seals and she's working like new. A nice present now for a relative who has shown an interest in film photography.

I have no argument with the fact that that price is a steal compared with its original new price, but it is about par for the course these days. I bought my F100 in near-mint condition three years ago for US$299. If I could justify the need I would be buying more. You can get one rated EX+ from KEH for less than that now, and even less on eBay.
