What's your favorite settings for your GRD?

HI all,
I just received my new GRDIV and so far have been playing around with the settings and trying to customize the buttons. I must say I am impressed with the array of options I have for customizing everything, albeit its a bit daunting at first. My question is what are some of your favorite set ups for walk around street shooting? I prefer B&W, do the in camera B&W settings work for you or do you mostly do it all in PP? JPEG vs RAW? I know much of its personal, but I am curious how others are setting up their cameras.
I was thinking of a preset each for daylight, for night and for indoors. I am hoping I can master this all before my trip to Rome in October 😀

I think that's a good starting point-->daylight, night, indoors for the my1/2/3, especially if you like consistent tonalities in different lights. That's how I use my grd3; the grd4 I've been using the high contrast on my2, & bleach bypass on my3.

& since you can also define how P & M etc. behave, you can really set up a wider variety of presets, assign handy switcheroos with fn1/2 ( like b/w-->color), dedicate this mode to Snap Focus and that mode to Subject Tracking.

It's a long long while till October. Try a lot of different settings, shoot a few thousand shots, delete the failures, keep the exemplars and apply their lessons to how you want to see the Eternal City. And visit the GR & GRD threads here for further sustenance, challenge, and evidence of this little camera's versatility and adaptability to very different personal visions.

Thanks Robert. It's been fun so far. It is however difficult to use the screen in daylight. I am going to look into a viewfinder for it.
