Collectors inflating the value of old cameras they buy and don't even use...
Haha! That's one that I didn't even know I had until you mentioned it.
Someone has already said it, but when people say, "Those photos are amazing! What camera do you use?"
Urban Outfitters. Wait, what? Yeah. Walk into an Urban Outfitters and look at their asking prices on Holgas and Dianas. Umm... SIXTY FREAKIN' DOLLARS for a HOLGA!? Give me a break.
Family members at weddings. They always want to jump in and take photos during the posed shots. So what you end up with is grandma's camera in the corner of your shot. Or everyone looking at you, except for that one idiot in the back who is looking at his girlfriend while she snaps a picture on her Droid-whatever. My wife and I write it into our contract that people are to refrain from taking photos while we're shooting and that we aren't responsible for missed or poorly-directed images as a result of other photographers. I know it sounds stupid, but it's to protect us so that the bride can't come back and say, "I asked you to get a photo of all of us together and half of the people aren't looking at the camera!" Then I can say, "Well, if you look at your contract, I told you that no one else could take photos when I was and that I wasn't responsible for ruined photographs due to other photographers' interventions. Your Aunt Sally probably got a pretty good shot of it. Especially considering she was standing directly in front of me. Go ask her."

Photographer?
To elaborate on the guy that disliked people taking cameras to museums to take pictures of paintings, I hate it when people take pictures of other peoples' art. It's fine to make an abstract of an interesting sculpture. But I see way too many folks at exhibitions just taking straight-on copy-work shots of other peoples' art. What a useless picture to take.
I also dislike talking to photographers who have found the "ONE TRUE PATH". You know the guy: the guy that only uses the zone system, HC-110, large format, etc. (or has some other strict set of guidelines for photographing) All of that would be fine, except this same guy is preaching as loudly and obnoxiously to everyone that will listen on the the Internet that this is the ONLY way to photograph.

"Can you really still get film for such an old camera?"

I guess I should have put a smiley there since my original comment was "tongue in cheek"
Then I went back and read all the responses. Boy, there sure are a lot of people here who are peeved by what others do or say even though it has no impact on them at all.

This from the guy who posted a list of people who admitted to using pirated copies of Adobe software???

Shooter of Film...
My first reaction would be to say I get a bit upset when someone steps in front of me while I'm shooting (taking my time...maybe at a car show...trying to get a nice angle) and this bozo is using his phone's camera...but maybe that makes me look a bit snobbish...
So I'll say that this irks me too but on a different level...
I shoot film (my choice) and standing next to me at an event I'm working there's that guy with his digital-whatever firing away at a rate of 20 shots/sec. and it's a boring scene...nothing really happening but now he's got 20 shots of it...and then the editing right afterwards...it bugs me because instead of waiting for something decent some of those digi-guys just fire away hoping one of them is what they were looking for...I don't get it...does that make me a snob too...???

Brand snobbery, overly large dslrs used by those who chatter about technology as an end in itself, rather than viewpoint, working with light, and a hunger to capture imagery.

Bob338, the list of people who admitted to using pirated Adobe software was right here on RFF. They volunteered their names. I just cut and pasted it.
But, those who use pirated Adobe software certainly do impact me because I am paying their share of Adobe product development costs. I pay somewhere around a 33% to 50% premium for the share of those who do not. Last night I paid $76 for a Lightroom upgrade. I could not help but think that about $50 of that for for my share and the rest was the share of someone else who bootlegged it.

Whatever
People who tell me I must be a good photographer because I have so much equipment, a Leica, etc (or words to that effect).
I usually respond by saying that it only shows that I know how to spend money -- and THAT I'm really really good at!

The overuse of the phrase "decisive moment".

Losing on a mountaintop the case for my lightmeter, losing the cord it hangs on, and having lost so little, ever, worrying I will loose something more important now, when I am distracted by getting the shot.
Dropping my Zeiss C Sonnar. Three times. The fall out: one bent filter lip, one bent hood and one dent in the floor.
Losing my 30 year old lens cap for the 50 Summicron I was sure was in my pocket, driving all the way back to where I'd been, doubling the time I told my wife I would be out for on that Sunday, only to find it wasn't on the road where I'd parked, but it was, in fact, after all, in my pocket.
Blurred photographs with the early rolls through the new M5: small matter of being so absorbed in the new metering that I had forgotten one minor step, focussing on the subject.
Shutter hanging up on the M9. Yes, a 40 second exposure in bright sunlight, courtesy of those annoying little Zeiss lens caps.

What irritates the living snot out of you, photographically speaking?
For me one of them it's pulling out the ipad or tablet for a photo, can't stand it! What's yours?
I hate it that most RFfers pictures are better than mine.

what?
Family and friends who ask me to photograph their [son's, daughter's, cousin's, etc etc] wedding.
"I don't shoot weddings. You should hire a pro to do that. It's too stressful, and it's not my kind of photography."
"O please, you have such a nice camera, and XXXX says you even have your own website."
"Okay, I need $5000 to show up."
"Sh#t, I could hire a pro for less than that."

I know I have quite a few, but the ones that spring to mind right now, are those endless lens sharpness discussions you see on the web in some places, whenever I see more than a few of those, I know it is time to get my coat. Other one, is people using bokeh and depth of field interchangeably. Bokeh does not equal how much you can throw things out of focus, but rather the quality of those out of focus elements. If you are going to obsess on a somewhat minor element of a photograph, at least get it right.
